NEW: tartan dress

How perfect is this beauty!? I've been looking for a dress to wear for my boyfriends 21st for weeks now, and when I tried this dress on in zara, just because.. I quite literally fell in love with it. Since my bank balance is so damaged (what's new), my lovely mamma said she'd buy it for me if I pay her back next month. DEAL.
Think I'm gonna pair it with my white Jeffrey Campbell spike lita's, just to grunge it up a bit. I don't fancy ruining my poor toes in a club by wearing strappy heeled sandals.
How ridiculously perfect would these h&m boots look with it though? ..That I've been waiting 42534 weeks for to arrive. Double zips, yesssss.

WANT: checked coat

You know that feeling you get when you see something, and you don't want it, you NEED it. That happened today when I tried on this beauty in zara. Words cannot even explain how desperate I am for this, I'm just unsure if I can justify spending £149 on a coat. I fall more and more in love with it each time I look at it. Definitely saving my pennies now!

OUTFIT: tartan and mom jeans

First things first.. how adorable is my pooch!? Ahhhh I love her so much.
Expect to see these loafers in a LOT of outfit posts, sorry not sorry. Everytime I looked down at my jeans and shoes, I couldn't help but feel like a mother, possibly gran from the early 90's, and I LOVE IT.

a/w 13 trend - tartan

Us 'kilt wearing' scots have finally made tartan popular! Seen all over the catwalks, this trend is set to be big for a/w and can already be seen all over the high street. Here are some of my favourite pieces..

pinafore playsuit - glamorous
crop top - miss selfridge
skirt - miss selfridge
scrunchy - river island
trousers - topshop
spike lita's - jeffrey campbell

Below are some tartan items I already own. I can't wait to start wearing them when it gets a bit colder, which probably isn't too far away knowing Scotland's usual drastic change in weather..
