OUTFIT | ck

As mentioned in my last post, I've been so lucky with certain items lately and today is no exception. I've wanted this Matalan oversized boyfriend coat ever since I worked there, which was over 10 weeks ago, but always stopped myself from buying it (saying I have 'too many' coats is an understatement). I went in today and it was still there and even better.. half price. YEAH.

OUTFIT: autumn jellies

My mum bought this beeeeautiful coat from zara today, so obviously it was natural that I thieve it for a few photos. It was reduced from £69.99 to £29.99.. unbelievable. She had to buy it in grey too..
I also purchased the most perfect tartan dress today, which I will post tomorrow at some point!

Ps, look at these trousers I tried on today. Definition of perfection. Silky, tartan, high waisted, pink, fab belt.. what's not to like!? Buy these here.

WANT: checked coat

You know that feeling you get when you see something, and you don't want it, you NEED it. That happened today when I tried on this beauty in zara. Words cannot even explain how desperate I am for this, I'm just unsure if I can justify spending £149 on a coat. I fall more and more in love with it each time I look at it. Definitely saving my pennies now!

OUTFIT: beloved cream coat

An outfit post two days in a row.. Say whaaaat!? Even I'm impressed. And it feels good, I need to get off my arse and do this more often.
This is what I wore into town shopping the other day. It always seems wise to wear a coat when it's cold outside but as soon as I went into shops I was sweating like a pig. Not nice.
On another note, I have an interview at H&M this week. I'm soooo excited it's ridiculous, fingers crossed!

NEW: knitted vest

I've wanted a knitted vest for as long as I can remember, but I've never been able to find one I've really liked. The last time I was in hollister, I seen the perfect one that was in the sale, yet still 30 odd quid. My mum mentioned to her friend that I wanted one and wullah, two days later I come home to this all wrapped up in tissue paper. Amazing or what!? Think it was about £6 to make, if that. It's so cute!

OUTFIT: cosmic fur

I seriously wish this Scottish weather would make it's mind up. Last week I was back in to a skirt and vest then a few days later I'm wearing this yeti coat. SO annoying, winter where are you!! This coat was a freebie from my auntie that I hauled out of a black bag she was planning to chuck away.. dear god why, its faaaabulous and not to mention super cosy.
Also featuring THEE comfiest heels I own, and probably ever will. Lita's are a dream come true. Aaaaand I will never tire of my 'mom' jeans - the only attire that makes my poor, short legs, look long.

a/w 13 trend - tartan

Us 'kilt wearing' scots have finally made tartan popular! Seen all over the catwalks, this trend is set to be big for a/w and can already be seen all over the high street. Here are some of my favourite pieces..

pinafore playsuit - glamorous
crop top - miss selfridge
skirt - miss selfridge
scrunchy - river island
trousers - topshop
spike lita's - jeffrey campbell

Below are some tartan items I already own. I can't wait to start wearing them when it gets a bit colder, which probably isn't too far away knowing Scotland's usual drastic change in weather..

jacket - river island (old)
scarves - vintage

What's some of your favourite a/w '13 trends?
